Meet The Teams

GB Maxibasketball is coordinated by a committed group of people with many years experience of playing, coaching, sports science support and national team management in performance basketball environments. These include FIBA European Basketball Championships, Four Countries International Tournaments, Pre-Olympic qualifying tournaments, World University Games and more recently at FIMBA World and European Maxibasketball Championships. With the programme being recognised within a governing body Talent Pathway, essential clinical governance is provided by our Sports Science, Exercise & Medicine team, led by experienced sports physiotherapist Dr. Mark Dayson.
