GB Maxibasketball is affiliated to Basketball England, whose Policies & Procedures we adopt and comply with. However, we would like to bring the following statements to your attention.
Data Protection
GB Maxibasketball is a privacy conscious organisation and is strongly committed to your right to privacy. As an affiliated Basketball England organisation, we adhere to their Data Protection Policy, which follows guidelines set out in General Data Protection Regulations (May 2018). GB Maxibasketball is committed to complying with data protection law and to respecting the privacy rights of individuals. The policy applies to all of our volunteers and consultants.

Data Security
All GB Maxibasketball personnel are responsible for ensuring that any personal data that they possess regarding any other individual is kept securely and is not disclosed to any unauthorised third party unless prior permission from the data subject has been sought.
Equality, diversity and inclusion
GB Maxibasketball is fully committed to the principles of equality of opportunity and is responsible for ensuring that no participant, coach or volunteer involved in the programme receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, nationality, colour, parental or marital status, religious belief, class or social background, sexual preference or political belief

You do not need to seek permission to link directly to pages hosted on this site. We do not object to you linking directly to the information hosted on our site. However we do not permit use of our logo as a link without prior permission or our pages to be loaded into frames on your site. Requests for permission to use our logo should be directed to info@gbmaxibasketball.co.uk.
If permission is given, GB Maxibasketball’s pages must load into the user’s entire window with an acknowledment of the source.
Intellectual Property
The names, images, pictures and logos identifying GB Maxibasketball, or Team GB Maxibasketball, or Team GB Maxis, are the proprietary marks of GB Maxibasketball. Copying our logos and/or any other third party logos accessed via this website is not permitted without prior approval from the relevant copyright owner.
Requests for permission to use our logo should be directed to info@gbbasketball.co.uk. Tell us how and why you wish to use our logo. Please include your contact details, name, address, telephone number and email.
Privacy Statement
If you are a user with general public and anonymous access, the GB Maxibasketball website does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user’s IP address that is automatically recognised by the web server. We do not use cookies for collecting user information and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of our web server.
Safeguarding
GB Maxibasketball is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for all people involved in the sport/activity. It accepts its responsibility to assist in the welfare of all people and to safeguard them from poor practice, abuse and bullying.
All individuals within the organisation – players/members/volunteers/coaches/support staff – have a role and responsibility to help ensure the safety and welfare of adults.
GB Maxibasketball accepts that it is required to fulfil a duty of care, which means that we must do everything that can be reasonably expected to help safeguard and protect people from harm, and to act when we suspect that someone is being harmed or is at risk of harm.
