With over 300 expressions of interest received for the 2026/27 season, GB Maxibasketball — a governing body-recognised national masters basketball programme — is expanding fast. Our male and female teams now span age categories from 35+ to 60+, and we’re building the staff team to match.
We’re recruiting:
🏀 Head Coaches (Men’s and Women’s programme) — we’ve recruited some quality coaches already, but we are looking for two more candidates, plus two assistant coaches. As Head Coach, you’ll lead one of our squads through preparation and into international competition in Europe next year, working with experienced, committed athletes across a range of age groups.

Access to high-level CPD, peer support, and mentoring throughout the season — a genuine opportunity to develop your coaching career within an international programme, alongside experienced staff who’ve represented GB themselves.
With this expansion, we are also seeking sports science professionals to join our SSEM team, as well as Team Managers.
