Yesterday’s closing ceremony of the inaugural FIBA Masters Open 2026 event brought to an end the GB Maxibasketball 2025/26 international masters campaign in Greece. Accordingly, we now welcome expressions of interest to join the GB Maxibasketball national programme for 2026/27 and attend open trial sessions in September and October 2026 in Nottingham. We will be looking to select teams for the FIBA Masters Open in age categories from 40+ upwards, and interest is welcomed from players and coaches from any club or organisation, inside or outside of GB Maxis. We aim to bring everyone together the masters community and send out the strongest GB representative teams we can across the age groups.
We are also open to 3×3 teams provided coaches and players with the relevant expertise are available, and subject to their being the right level of SSEM support available.
