We continue to strengthen the support available to our GB Maxiballers, and are pleased to announce a double appointment of two further sports therapists to this national performance programme. Yes, CHLOE WILLIAMS and MARC WHEELER have joined GB Maxis to support the forthcoming training camps.
A Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Graduate from the University of Kent, Chloe has prior experience of the basketball environment helping at the Kent Crusaders Basketball Team, performing courtside treatment and rehabilitation sessions. Chloe is described as very committed to learning and is keen to develop her skills alongside our experienced SS&M team members.
Marc is a Graduate Sports Therapist and will shortly be completing his MSc in Sports and Exercise Psychology this semester. Not wanting to stop there, he is hoping to begin an MSc (pre-reg) Physiotherapy in September. He has gained valuable experience from working in a variety of sports from Rugby with London Irish RFC to Karate with GB Karate and Football. He is also the current lead therapist for the Welsh Senior Men’s and U23’s National Basketball teams. When not working with one of the teams, you can find Marc busy in at his clinic Three Degrees Therapy in Ashford, Kent.
A huge welcome to you both and we look forward to seeing you soon at our forthcoming camps!
