GB Maxis women had their final one-day camp of 2021 yesterday in Sheffield, and welcomed back a few players from previous times, including ANTA RIEKSTINA, NAJ KORICHE, and REHANA KHALIL. With our USA-based players taking a break from this camp, and a few unavailable due to NBL1 games, there were 41 players in attendance. Squads worked on teams plays plays and, with it being the final UK-based selection opportunity, coaches were able to get a closer look at possible individual and team combinations for next years’ European Championships in Malaga.
GB Maxis women and men are travelling to Spain to participate om the MAMBAsket 5 International Maxibasketball tournament, in Murcia on 3-5 December 2021, and final selection of teams for Malaga will follow thereafter.
