After a postponement of two full years, the XI FIMBA European Maxibasketball Championships will finally take place in Malaga with games beginning on Sat 25 June right through to 3 July 2022. Our GB Maxis teams have remained committed to training for this event, attending regular camps together since April 2021 (and some before that time!). So we wish them good luck and every success, and enjoyment in the next few weeks.
However, we all know that time doesn’t stand still. Soon Malaga 2022 will be history and we will be starting our preparations for the World Maxibasketball Championship 2023 
. The world championship host city yet to be announced by FIMBA, but our 2022/23 training programme is already in place, starting with an OPEN TRAINING WEEKEND ON 21 & 22 AUGUST 2022, in MANCHESTER.

Further open training camps will run right up to January 2023, after which the national team(s) selection process begins for the World Championship. You can view the full schedule on our website here.
