We are pleased to announce that Jesse Sazant has returned to the GB Maxibasketball program with effect from 1 November 2024.
Having led the GB Maxis Men’s 40+ team at the European Maxibasketball Championship 2024 in Pesaro, Sazant took a break from the programme over the summer but is now looking forward to a new challenge supporting our coaching teams ahead of Ticino 2025.
As GB Maxibasketball Men’s programme lead, Jesse will now operate in a non-coaching capacity, with responsibility for coaching appointments, as well as driving forward coach development and mentoring.
Sazant said:
“I’m really excited to be rejoining the GB Maxibasketball programme after a short break. I can’t wait to work with all the players and staff at the next camp as we build towards Ticino.
The value that this programme brings to all the people involved is immeasurable. To play a small part in what has been built by Sadie and the team is something I am very proud of.”

With final team selections expected to be confirmed by early December 2025, coaching teams will shortly be appointed by the respective Programme Leads. Player invitations to the final selection camps will be issued in the coming week.
