Our next GB Men’s combined age training weekend will soon be upon us, and we look forward to welcoming our GB 35+, 45+, 50+ and 55+ squads into camp on 8th & 9th March in Nottingham.
However, we are looking to recruit additional players to our GB M35+ squad for the World Maxibasketball Championship 2025, in Switzerland. As part of our Great Britain 35+ squad, players will have the exciting opportunity to play against teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Serbia amongst others.
Ideally interested players will have professional, national league or international playing experience but all players are welcome to try out. In terms of selection to the squad, you will need to be available for the tournament itself (27 June to 6 July 2025) plus one training & preparation weekend in March, a weekend in May and a final one-day camp in June.
Eligibility for selection:
(1) You must be 35 years of age or older in the year of the competition AND
(2a) you must hold a GBR/GBR Dual-national passport, OR
(2b) you have lived in the UK for a minimum of 12 months
