Our GB M55+ team continued their FIMBA Ticino 2025 World Championship preparations with a close game against Cobham last weekend, coming away with a narrow 59–57 win.
It was a well-balanced team performance, with former BBL veterans Noel Power (Chester Jets), Keith Pringle (Hemel Hempstead), and Mark Bradbury (Leicester) all contributing 13 points each. Meanwhile, Cobham’s Justas Muzikevicius led his teams’ effort with a solid 20-point outing.
Head Coach Mike Martin praised his squad for their commitment in ‘squeezing in’ an additional two training days before the next combined May training weekend, and said:
“The guys have have found the extra contact time and games against local opposition really beneficial, and great preparation for the full-length games to come in Ticino.”
