NEW TEAM DOCTOR JOINS THE GB MAXIBASKETBALL PROGRAMME

We are delighted to welcome DR. JAMES STRONGE to the GB Maxibasketball programme. James has worked as a GP with a specialist interest in sports and exercise medicine in a variety of roles for the last two years. He has worked as the first team doctor for Charlton Athletic women, as a matchday doctor for Queens Park Rangers academy and has provided pitchside medical care in football, rugby and snowsports for BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport). He works across several GP practices in North London.
James trained at University College London, before going on to specialise in General Practice at the Whittington Hospital in North London. He also has a masters in sports and exercise medicine from University College London. He is looking forward to supporting the GB Maxis teams out in Greece this summer.
Once the domestic football season has ended, James expects to join our final preparation camps before flying out to Athens with the delegation.
