We are delighted to share the news that Dr. Elton Chawatama has successfully passed both parts of the sport and exercise medicine specialty exam set by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM), which is the membership body responsible for the governance and development of sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine in the UK.
Dr. Chawatama, who is part of the wider GB Maxibasketball SSEM team supporting our preparations for the forthcoming World Maxibasketball Championship in Ticino, said:
“The journey has been challenging and deeply rewarding. I’m looking forward to applying these skills in clinical practice and continued growth in sport and exercise medicine.”
